personal Barbara was born in northern Ireland but moved to England as a young child. She moved around a lot as her parents were both in show business. She now lives in London with her American husband Chris who is director of a media marketing company. They have two sons, Daniel 10 and Thomas 9. |  | | | career Barbara was a singer before she became an actress and worked with people such as Bill Whyman, Peter Gabriel and Errol Brown. When her two sons were babies she studied at the actors centre in London, since then she as appeared in numerous theatre productions the last one being the part of Gertrude in hamlet.
